The Voluntary Transport Scheme provides friendly, helpful volunteer drivers who use their own cars to offer transport to those in need.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: – due to unprecedented demand we are currently concentrating our voluntary transport journeys on getting people to medical appointments only.
You are only eligible if:
Availability
Every effort is made to provide a service, but due to volunteer availability we cannot guarantee a journey.
Please give us as much notice as possible – ideally (a minimum of) 1 week.
Cost
You will be required to pay towards the cost of the service, this is based on the number of miles that you travel.
Current charges are:

| 8 – 8.9 miles | £8.50 | 19 – 19.9 miles | £16.00 |
| 9 – 9.9 miles | £9.00 | 20 – 24.9 miles | £19.00 |
| 10 – 10.9 miles | £9.50 | 25 – 29.9 miles | £22.00 |
| 11 – 11.9 miles | £10.00 | 30 – 34.9 miles | £24.00 |
| 12 – 12.9 miles | £10.50 | 35 – 40 miles | £27.00 |
