Group Transport
If your organisation needs transport to get members to sessions, go on social trips, days out or travel to a special event, then we can help.
We have three minibuses, two of which are wheelchair accessible, that are conveniently located in Leek, and are regularly serviced and maintained to provide a safe, comfortable and reliable service. The minibuses are available on a ‘self-drive’ or ‘with volunteer driver’ basis, and for regular or occasional bookings. We offer a reliable and friendly service. Hire fees are used to maintain the vehicles and operate the service. The vehicles are available to hire at evenings and weekends too, with insurance, breakdown cover and fuel included.
Current charges are:

Driving our vehicles
Groups and organisations are able to use their own drivers. You can provide your own driver if they are over 25 and have held a full UK driver’s licence for more than two years and:
- have a D1 licence entitlement and have experience of driving larger vehicles, or
- have a PSV/HGV licence, or
- have a standard category B licence (car) and meet the following conditions: They receive no payment or consideration for driving, other than out-of-pocket expenses, they cannot tow a trailer
If you can’t provide a driver, we have a pool of volunteer drivers, who continue to give freely of their time – please ask for details when you book.
Please note: Our licence to run the community transport service means that minibuses cannot be hired for activities (or as part of activities) that are profit making. Our licence also means that we are not able to provide any type of Park and Ride journeys, nor to be used by members of the general public.
